High quality sound for Soca, Reggae and Urban Contemporary music

This year’s Leicester Caribbean Carnival provided quite a challenging scenario for SES Technical, due to the limited amount of time being available between gaining access to the site and the start of the show.

Nonetheless, everything worked perfectly, thanks to the successful deployment of PA and concert sound reinforcement and control equipment by a range of high quality specialist manufacturers including

    • L’acoustics dV-DOSC speakers
    • Sb28 subs
    • Dv-subs
    • LA8 amplifiers
    • Soundcraft Si desk and digital remote stage boxes.

SES’s MD Jeff Pallet said in tribute to his crew

“Everyone worked so efficiently to get everything operating well in such a limited time. The audience were able to enjoy a very high quality level of sound from the performers.”

    About the Leicester Caribbean Carnival

According to the Visit Leicester website,

“Leicester Caribbean Carnival is a hugely popular multicultural event, celebrating the diverse cultures in Leicester while keeping the cultural traditions of the Caribbean alive. It is one of the largest multicultural events in the East Midlands with an estimated 80,000 people on the parade route and 20,000 on the park.  The event embraces all art forms from Leicester’s diverse community while at the same time ensuring that the true meaning of the Caribbean Carnival remains intact.”
